I miss your tender indulging kiss
That sweet, cool embrace
The relief you bring when we meet
The sick grin you put on my face
The scars you left, tears you brought
The pain that burns my core
After we're together I hate you
Yet, you leave me wanting more
Engaging in such brutal acts
Tempt me to press harder one more time
to paint my arms, leave your mark
and find that vein of mine
Yet, then again...
I dont miss you all that much
I've found someone I love more
His kiss is more tender then your's ever was
Instead of cold, he keeps me warm
I cant help but smile
When I see him coming near
He knows me, and my past
and takes away all my fears
He dries my eyes, and loves me
I get lost in his soft brown eyes
To think I'd never find someone
then fate brought him by surprise
No longer do I have to cut
to feel something I cant explain
A hug from him by far exceeds
your touch and then the pain
I regret ever meeting you
The torture you brought upon me
I will never use you again
and I wish it hadnt ever had to be...

....aww, that's sweet....but I'm curious....how did you meet that "perfect someone"?....I am to the point where "True Love" and that "Perfect Someone" are extinct....
....oh yeah, beautiful poem....I like it, therefore I say to you....Bravo, bravo....

Great poem, I just hope I eventually have a reason to have the same conclusion. I agree with the first remark, too: how DO you find that perfect someone? I'm at the end of my rope here!

wow this was amazing. I was confused when I was reading the 1st stanza until I realised you were talking about the razor and then the next stanza was about yer bf. Good poem very enthralling.
