I can't be who I was before
I loved too much and I can't anymore
I always tried to be the light
Now I'm trying to fade into the night
I disappear before your eyes
But my pain you don't seem to recognize
So as I slowly slip away
I'll be screaming the things I need to say
I HATE THE WORLD!
I only have enough love left for you
That's why I pushed them all away
I don't care about anyone but you
I HATE MYSELF!
As long as I can breathe inside my skin
I cant be anything you want
That's why I need to find some peace within
The sun, it always shines too bright
And happiness always holds me too tight
I need to choke on bitter air
And how the hell are you still unaware?
I'm scared to face the human race
'Cause everywhere I go I'm out of place
So I'll give them something to judge
Give myself a reason to hold a grudge
I need to bleed
'Cause it shows me there's still something inside
But you give me the will to love
You woke me up when I thought I had died
I need to hurt
'Cause if there's nothing left of me to save
Then I can concentrate on you
Shut my dirty mouth and learn to behave
I can only relax
When darkness surrounds me
And I can only sleep
When your arms are around me
They say ignorance is bliss
Well I can ignore myself best
When I melt into the background
So melt into me and let's disappear

Great write
"I can only relax
