I do not wish to hear you cry
the tears i cannot witness
i do not wish to see you smile
laughter, not able to bear
i do not wish to touch your heart
my soul, cold and empty
i do not wish to know your passion
feeling, long grown numb within
i do not wish to hold you dearly
my patience slim and my temper harsh
i do not wish to lose you, ever
my soul, forbidden to love
i am curs'd
