Lying awake listening to the wind blow
Thoughts of you racing through my mind
The beating of my heart a melody steady and slow
My breathing the only thing keeping the time.
Afraid to close my eyes again
To do so would make you disappear
Don't want this tune to come to an end
I wonder will the wind carry it to your ear?
When you hear the sweet sound
Will you feel my breath upon your face
And my love flowing all around?
Will your heart begin to race?
The beating of our hearts become one
Our breathing begins to slow
Outside up comes the sun
Inside I can still hear the wind blow.
