Children. New clay. Soft and damp. Ready to be moulded into society. Taught how to think. Taught what to feel. Watch them get shaped and subtley manipulated into an acceptable human being. Don't go against the 'helping' hands. If you do, they'll squash you right back down to nothing. Let them guide you, around and around. And when they think you're almost done, they leave their final dents in your fragile little form before leaving you to bake and dry up.
Adulthood. Old clay. Covered in irreversible marks. Edges that have been chipped away over the years. But wait... Look what lies in front of you... New clay...so innocent and pure Here's your chance for revenge Take it

yes it was a good write. I probably could have lived without the last 2 lines, but it was still good. I loved the way you used making pottery as a way of describing growing up. keep writing
