TWINKLING STARS
I SEE AT NITE
MANY OF THEM
BRIGHTLY SHINES
IT GIVES ME HOPE
IN ANYWAY
WHICH LIFT MY SPIRIT
TOWARDS GOD
BEAUTIFUL STARS
THAT GIVES ME SMILE
IN WHICH I FEEL
MY SOUL IS LIGHT
MANY OF THEM
LOOKING DOWN TO EARTH
JUST PUT UP YOUR HEAD
WILL GIVE US HOPE TO THE DREAMS
WE HAVE IN THE WARMTH
OF OUR HEARTS
STARS THAT SENDS
A BRIGHTER SIDE OF LIFE
TO THINK AT PEACE
IN OUR HEART DESIRES
WISH I MAY WISH I MIGHT
HAVE THE WISH
THAT I WISH TONIGHT
TO MY FAVORITE STAR
STARS OF THE NITE

| this conjures images of a night sky for me and I like the way you only rhymed the last stanza even if it is a simple dedication it drove home your point, very nicely done. an elegant poem. |
