Swifting Air

Contributed by LiveTheDream on Sunday, 30th November 2003 @ 12:38:45 PM in AEST
Topic: SadPoetry

Swifting air of a dying soul
Drowning in the sorrow of nothing
Nothing that means anything to the others
But to her something so deep, so precious
It burns

She sits at the place
The place shes sat so many times before
The place where all her thoughts go
WHere she lets herself free
All alone

The sun comes down
Another day passes her and
She wonders, wonders how
The world shapes itself to fit around her
She wonders

Swifting air of her dying soul
Theres nothing anyone can do anymore
Nothing she herself can say
The sun comes down again
Setting sun

A bird passes out of sight
She follows the flight
She wishes it was her
She wants to fly
Fly away

Come down again she asks
So i can see you clearly
For once she feels calm
Knowing the listener wont lie
SHe speaks

All she needs is a little time
Time that never seems to stay
If she could stay awake
Stop her dying soul
Swifting air

Just another dying soul
