long into the night
dreamscape haunts me
soft landing on pilows
smothering in you
the need to be wanted
stars on my eyelashes
sparkling tears like wine
intoxicating moments
raising the stakes
what are the odds of this
ever really happening
basking in the blue glow
i have become moonlight
are my eyes open or closed
when i see you so clearly
know the sound of your heart
articulate purposeful beating
under my hand sleeping
long into the night
