My Love

Contributed by all_for_loving_you on Monday, 1st December 2003 @ 07:13:44 PM in AEST
Topic: LoveRemembered

I wish,
For once more,
You would tell me
That you love you.
Oh, the joy that used to bring me.
I would wake up thinking of you.
Go all day,
Thinking of you.
And fall asleep,
Thinking of you.
You were the best thing,
That ever happened to me.
I love you so much.
This pain,
It is... unbelievable.
You are all I need.
You are the cure to my sickness.
To see your face,
Is like holding the sunshine in my heart.
To hear you voice,
Is like God's angels,
Playing their harps.
To feel your touch,
Is like the answer to my prayers.
To talk to you,
And not tell you that I love you,
Is like a fast slap in the face...
Only much more painful.
When you hold me,
I just want to erase time,
Forget about everything else.
All we need is our love.
Baby, you're my dream come true,
My bright, shiny star,
My knight in shining armor.
I love you.

Wow, very well written. I've been in the same situation myself.... Of going through the whole day thinking of that special someone...being in their arms...it's a great feeling, it really is.

Hey, thanks! I enjoy hearing what what you people have to say about my poetry. It means a lot to me. And, yes, I have to agree... it is a great feeling. :)
