"BEAUTIFUL SLUMBER"
I watched
as the slow
rhythmic rising and falling
of your breast
let me know
that you were sleeping.
I watched
as peaceful memories
filled my soul.
I remember the day we met
and our eyes locked.
It was at that moment
I knew you were the one.
I continued to watch your slumber
'til I awakened.
It was then
that I realized...
You were only a dream.
