I wish life were a book
Written in pencil
So I could turn back the pages and erase all my mistakes
And rewrite all that I wish I could
I wish life were a book
Already filled with a happy ending
So I would never have to worry
And when something bad happens
Id say, Oh, its supposed to happen,
Its written right here, see?
I wish life were a book
I would draw myself a smile right now
And erase all my pain
But life isnt a book
And all we can do is regret, worry and wait
