When I close my eyes
Your face I see
At night when I sleep
Youre in my dreams
Laying in your arms
Felt so good
So right
Yet at the same time
So wrong
The happiness it brought
I knew would not last
For this can never be
Your head on my chest
Me in your arms
I wished this night would never end
And yet it did
You said the words
The words I didnt want to hear
Time for me to go
I asked you to stay,
Just a little bit longer
But you said you must go
So I hugged you good-bye
And off you went
Tears in my eyes
My aching heart
Will never mend
Until the next time
Im lying in your arms again
