playing house in a campground full of thieves professing sins on sunday, unto the lamb they cleave what sabbath washes clean the next day shall retrieve never learning which game to believe
sing their happy songs and be the little puppet do their biddings, blow the golden trumpet repent transgressions behind the mighty pulpit
a shock of fear and the fear of shock they never learn to take in honest stock single sacrifice from the flock
mask their evil in icons of love their piety destroys absolution from above off to his left side they shall be shoved both pain and pleasure have been betrothed

Dear Jaymee,
How I appreciate this write.
For deep down in my heart I know you are right!
We live in the time of many a hypocrite.
They've turned so many souls, including yours my dear, for all the things they do in the darkness that cause so much fear. But there is love.....there is love Jaymee....way above. Hang on to that hand, no man's in all the land! Place not your trust in nobleman, for he will die and not rise again. 'Tis so sad but true, religion today as we know it, is dead!
But we can carry through....go right on loving me and you!
Timely poem, Jaymee....well said!
