Time goes by in my shadowed eyes,
laughing at so many ghosts
that tried to bring me down.
Monsters hide in my hoping dreams
where they attack at all innocent tears.
Just to walk in my shoes
holding back a hateful secret
was never meant for you.
Monsters cry with blood
of humans all around,
trying to fight a war lost ages ago
brings back what time forgot.
Memories in silent breaths
hold me in my place,
running to taste my life
just to fall far behind all over again.
Monsters outside my door
hunger for tears my dreams wept.
Burning souls i need to keep
they feed on all my innocence
I always hide behind.
Bring what ones you can
only leave monsters behind.
He is the one i hate
yet all my trust i place in him.
He holds the monsters in his heart
as he steals my innocent tears
from my lonely dreams.
