Give me innocence,
Give me lustful playfulness,
Give me everything I crave.
Give me thoughtful give me brave.
Give me truth and lies and all,
Give me those mysteries,
That are held back,
Give me everything I lack.
Give me thoughts and dreams,
Give me inspiration,
Give me sin, penance, salvation,
Give me gentle contemplation.
Give me winter and spring,
Give me birds that softly sing,
Give me summer and fall,
Give me a sirens call.
Give me love,
Give her legs and feet,
Give her rhythmic heartbeat,
Give her arms and hands,
Give her times favorable sands,
Give her nose and mouth and eyes,
Give her sympathetic sighs.
Give me nothing if not dejavu,
For dreams are more true,
Than reality has ever been,
For all the things Ive seen,
Were little more than lies,
Things to which,
Ive said my last goodbyes.
