How Could You?

Contributed by MissLee on Friday, 5th December 2003 @ 11:08:52 AM in AEST
Topic: Grief

What happened to you?
You have changed into
Someone I do not know anymore
As I weep and sink down to the floor
My tears do not even phase you
Where did my old friend go to?
I know he is still there
But now you no longer care
Who are you?
I do not like who you have changed into
If you do not want me around say so
Stop coming back into my life whenever you please
For when you do, I feel like my heart is being eaten by a crow
As I sink to my knees
You do not even notice me
I do not know you, can you not see?
I have wasted so much time on a
dream that was never to be
I never heard what everyone was
trying to tell me
Why did I not see
That you did not care for me?
Why did you waste my time pretending to be nice only to hurt me in the end?
How could you let me call you a friend?
How could you break my trust and my heart in one blow?
How could you be so low?
Now I feel worn and old
How could you turn into someone so cold?
