I feel a little sad today
All my friends have gone away.
I cannot find the words to say
I feel so alone-I cannot play.
I heaved a great sigh
I did not get to say good-bye.
This is a day that I feel blue
Whenever I should think of you.
To lose a friend who seemed so true
I cannot find a thing to do.
I really think I'm going to cry
I did not want to say good-bye.
I guess today I lost the sun
I only wanted to have some fun.
I just don't know what I have done
My time in hell has just begun.
I have to find the will to try
I did not have to say good-bye.
Oh my God, here comes the rain
Washing away what I could gain.
Pouring it right down the drain
I cannot find the faith to fly
I did not need to say good-bye.
Hear the thunder, feel the rain
Feel inside that hidden pain.
See the lightening hit the trees
Good-bye to the birds and the bees.
With bitter wind, here comes the snow
Icy teeth biting in your soul
Like icicles puncturing the frozen ground.
All these things I can describe
I think, by now, you get the hint
Some people they just have this vibe
If I gave in , I'd lose a mint.
That's why I have to say,
" Hear the thunder, feel the rain
I think I'm gonna go insane.
See the lightening hit the trees
Fear will knock me to my knees."
I did not really want to cry
But I just had to say good-bye.
I lost a real good friend today
It will send me far away
I lost a best friend
I guess this is the end.
Good-bye
