The world never changes,
just gives rebirth, we as human
must change with time.
Old love letters, and friends acquired,
leave their memory if you stray from the path..
What might they do,
never look you in the eye, wear the Scarlett Letter, burn you at the stake.
Times in wonder, as modern day arrives,
if we really change at all.
Now... those that wander
are labled just as well.
Peace faring soul, a smile is upon your face,
still no one dares to question,
none to take your place.
The answers are right before us,
few to brave the storm.....Crow

| Interesting poem and an interesting take on things. Truly one wonder if anything changed at all. Very few ride the storm and reap the whirlwind to acquire the truth...very few are the enligtened souls. But is it worth the trouble??...I mean even now people paint scarlett letters and go on witchhunts to find people to burn at the stakes...not in the dark ages...now...in this day and age...it is that old paradox...a sane person in the world of the insane is INSANE. An enlightened person in the world of static retro-absolutes is the disenfranchaised party. |
