What cuts do tomorrow bring
when yesterday healed
wounds i never knew.
Time only brings back
memories of forgotten tears,
it can never heal
what the heart keeps inside.
whispers in a nameless soul
create lies i always turn to,
leaving holes in unforgiving pain,
heartless worries in my eyes
leave lonely scars on
childhood cheeks.
