Sweet Honeysuckle

Contributed by LovingWhispers on Saturday, 6th December 2003 @ 11:36:58 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

Springtime love is all around
It's perfume scents the air
The sweet sweet smell of romance
Sunny days without a care
My love, take me to higher ground
Let us lie beneath the sun
Share your honeysuckle kisses
And please don't stop at one

Dandelions sway in the breeze
So warm here in the grass
Just me and you, each kiss so new
Softly,slowly,make this last
Lay your face against the warmth
That is held here in my hair
Whisper soft with honeysuckle breath
Live these moments as we dare

The earth, our tender mattress
Is warmed from where we lie
Side by side,just holding hands
Looking to the bluest sky
We close our eyes and drift away
Yet only to each others minds
As there in honeysuckle fantasies
We leave the world behind

This was sweet. I liked the imagery very much. I was wondering in the beginning how sensual you where going to make it but you kept it soft and sweet. Nice.

Honeysuckle fantasies, beautiful thoughts. You write of romance like no other.

A smile is now upon my face, my mind is in the clouds, and all because I read those words, and I read them aloud. Great work, thank you very much for sharing.

Such bliss that we seek.
Such love that we yearn for
such dreams that will never return...
