For Sale Sign

With the sign in the yard
Its an action of discard
You cant just disregard
Or forever Ill be barred
In this trap, in this cell
Who cares? Go to Hell
This place was my life
Walk through the fire
Into the barbed wire
You cant say to me
Im listening but I cant hear
I need it here, I need it near
When will you see?
Ive paid my fine, Ive paid me fee
Rip out the pages that remind me
Burn them, nobody wants these
They do no good to me
I dont want to remember
I dont want to forget
Flashbacks, they attack
Electrify my mind, pause my life
Living in butterfly land
Where cheerful kids play in the sand
Reality attack, Im back, grey world, no color
How can this get any duller?
How long will it take?
Give me a break
Im losing myself
Im losing my friends
Lost in the deadly twists and bends
All I sense is fear
Get me out of here
The bathtub overflowed
Like my life, over the top
How am I supposed to handle this load?
