Lying in my own shadows
Consumed by my despair
Awakened for no reason
And still nothing there
Crashing down without you
Falling down again
Scraping my knees to tell you
Lost myself on the end
Darkness travels over me
Twists itself into my eyes
Bleeding out from the corners
Pain that never dies
Hope and wonderous healing
Picks up me up from my despair
I'll smile at you tomorrow
And you still won't be there
