THE RED TIDE IS TURNING

Contributed by Steeleyes on Monday, 8th December 2003 @ 04:47:45 AM in AEST
Topic: political

The tide is turning Mr Bush
But youre not for learning
Are you Mr Bush?
See the waters reach your head
These waters that are blood red
With Iraqi and US children dead Mr Bush

As you posture on and on Mr Bush
Better cock your lil eyebrow fast
Because we see your fate at last Mr Bush
You little cockroach of time
Who brought on us such slime

Wheres fatcat Cheney now Mr Bush?
And that senile cretin Rumsfeld
Starting to run and hide yet Mr Bush?
Before youre given the push Mr Bush?

What a pathetic crew you are
A herd of hapless cows
Or perhaps that should be bulls Mr Bush?
All brawn and no brain Mr Bush?

Its all coming home now
And you had better think fast
Because the blood on your hands
Is what well remember last Mr Bush

That and your pathetic legacy
Your stooped, brainless legacy
The sightless, goofy incompetence
The mean-minded misplaced arrogance

And a bunch of cynical placemen
Using a countrys grief
They saw so very little
Except win power behind a thief

But now its all seen through
From the beginning to the end
The people now see through your lies
And will bury those they despise

The tide is turning Mr Bush
But youre not for learning
Are you Mr Bush?
See the waters reach your head
These waters that are blood red
With Iraqi and US children dead Mr Bush

As you posture on and on Mr Bush
Better cock your lil eyebrow fast
Because we see your fate at last Mr Bush
You little cockroach of time
Who brought on us such slime

it's sad you let your politics ruin your poetry
