Reckless and feckless
has there EVER been a politician like you?
so willing to put self first
to give great riches to the few
to deny the poor their due
oblivious to all that's fair
it's clear you could not care
partisan to the nth degree
trading lies so they don't see
has there EVER been a rat like you?
just how low will you play it?
just how low will you bet?
will you trade your own soul
on votes that you can get?
trade off steel, now oil, now land
yes, a politician. we understand!
but has there EVER been a creep like you?
start a war without being sure
ensuring pain OTHERS must endure
creating greed for hate to flaunt
rewarding vice, ignoring want
bury America's best
in a foreign land
feed the rich and their demands
misdirecting grief so crass untrue
has there -EVER- been a bastard such as you?
