Shedding tears on your behalf
I know of thy secrets hidden
I can see through your glassy soul
Transparent from my tears
I've finally found the one my heart loves
The one who I have imagined
In my mind I see us together
Living our lives for one another
As one forever and ever
I've been through this pain before
Love is stirred before it's time
But this time, however, I know for sure
That we are meant to be together
Forever and ever
There is but one thing
That stands between us
You love another as I love you... ...
Once again I put myself through
Pain strong enough to kill.... ...
I've searched the globe far and wide
Only to find
There is none other like you
There is none other
To share my sympathies to
Now I've found you!
The one who claims
He's fell in love before
He tells me that he plans to love
Some one else
Forever and forevermore
The first time I have seen your face
You embraced me with your love
I have never felt a love before
From someone else other than I
I have never felt a warm embrace
My heart is cold and frail
Yet you love everyone
As you love yourself
I've never met someone like you
This love, this time...
It must be true!!
For the first time in my life time
Someone has embraced me
To show me that they care... ...
I never thought that there would be
Someone on this earth like me
Someone who writes poetry
Of former love and shame
Your emotion drives me wild!
Your passion makes me want you more
Forever my heart is frozen
A room, locked by a hidden door
But you have found the door
And you have found the key
No one has touched my heart so deeply
Not one person even has bothered
To look into the depths of my heart
Why can't you see what is placed in front of your face!
We are meant to be!!
We have gotten to know each other well
You know of secrets none can tell!
You hold me close
As you do all
But I cannot understand
Why no one takes the time
To even spare a passing glance
Or share their sympathy
No one but you has done this!
But within your presence I cannot speak
It's tearing us apart
Though we never were as one
I cannot bear to see your face again
Again I face this pain!
Pain that will not disappear
It will leave scars upon my heart
Killing me softly, slowly, steadily ....
I have looked inside your soul
You've felt this way before
You have felt love
You have felt pain
You have cried on behalf of another
Your eyes; they are like heaven
Through a broken windowpane
Full of sorrow and unfulfillment
Just as I feel everyday
The story of our friendship
Is one to be desired
You know of the darkness in my heart
But not of my love for you
This love; it must be true!!
