Like ink in a jar milk in flesh grass in a seed i wait for you.
To help me sing, breathe, grow and dance among snowdrop leaves. And like all these paper cut outs like the phoenix of time gone by my own framed renaissance occurs in the blink of your eye.
You let me dangle for a moment of your time fluttering gently in the breeze. You fling me away. And again i am left foetal, fearsome, failing. i wait for you.
Like the Queen's service you get here in your own time frame the cogs that make you turn eventually click round to me. i perch once more inside your palm the fingers enclosed around me safe for a time from the daggers below.
i can see the slits of light get wider silently day by day. I wish i could bind them but my grip is always frail. I wait for you to blow me away from you like a kiss.

Are you afraid? Your poem suggests a fear of not being wanted. Time alone will give you the answer that you seem to be looking for. Good strong poem I liked it. bern |
