Night engulfs me and everything With the sinister thoughts it brings It lures me to the song I sing Into the night the sad song rings
Darkness re-introduces me To everything I feel and see Prevents me from success' key The night and I, we don't agree
In the blackness I sit alone My windowsill, it is my throne Fighting sources before inknown Feeling completely on my own
Why does this darkness trap me here To experience my greatest fears To cry and cry out all these tears And wait fo daylight to draw near
Though it's evil, night seems not wrong Daylight will come, but who knows how long I'm still singing the same sad song Because in the dark night I belong
