Dear heart you flatter me
with such kindness
you set me free
to fly as high
as sparrows soar
your heart broken
mine badly bruised
your face I do not see
instead your heart
you bring to me
torn and tattered
in need of healing
your heart broken
mine badly bruised
we laugh at pain
desparaging hearts
a harmless game
played in the dark
with eye's wide open
your heart broken
