Smash my wings,
So I wont fly
Out of this cage of darkness,
Away from your power high.
Destroy all remnants of self-esteem
Feed me insecurities and self-doubt.
Coiled on the floor starving for happiness
There is no one left to hear when I shout...
Crash my dreams,
Dismantling my only retreat,
Watch Them Fall, What Them Burn,
Leaving me lifeless along side defeat.
Pin me down
So I cant run
Escape from this battlefield,
From this war you've already won...
Break me down
Till well see eye to eye
I can feel the person who hides inside
Quietly die.
