Sk8er Boy

Contributed by sk8ergurl04 on Wednesday, 28th August 2002 @ 12:30:58 PM in AEST
Topic: LovePoetry

i once met a guy
a sk8er boy to be exact
never knew he existed
unitl 17 months back

never was the one for me
or so i thought it seemed
always judged a book by its cover
and that was very mean

i finally realized
i'd like to give him a try
maybe play a little game
and leave some tears to cry

the game didn't turn out
the way it was so carefully planned
i fell for the sk8er boy
and everything went out of hand

i tried to bring myself back
as i thought, "it can be this way."
i wasn't supposed to fall for the sk8er boy
and there was no more i could say

now i'm with the sk8er boy
i love him with all my heart
i love him so much
and hope we never part

I know how it is... I went through the exact same situation. the person I thought I saw was just a reflection of what society has taught me to see. In reality he was and is the sweetest guy I know, and I'm still with him, and I love him with all of my heart. Good luck!
