Release

Contributed by ml03 on Wednesday, 10th December 2003 @ 09:21:41 PM in AEST
Topic: SongLyrics

Release yourself
Be true to you
Open the door
Walk right through
Mommy
Daddy
You had to know
But
I'll tell you
Anyways
Don't ge mad
And sad
I'm still your lil boi

Release me
From these chains
That hold me back
Release me
Freedom
To be me

2003
Your mind
Stuck back in 1950
Tradition failed
Hate hurts
And kills
Don't you see
The world is changin
For the better

You scared
Lil boiz
And men
Made them think
They deserved no rights
Only to be beaten
And die
You think
We all have AIDS
But
Its not true
So
Throw down
Your signs
Small minds
Shouldn't procreate

Release me
From these chains
That hold me back
Release me
Freedom
To be me

Release me
I just can't be
Who you want me
To be
Is that so wrong
Why must everyone
Be the same
Difference
Change
Hated on
When I just
Want to do
And be
What I am
On the inside
Out

Walk through the door
Hold your head
High
Release
The drama
Pain and stress
Forget
Everyones veiws
What you were told to be
Set it free
Run far
Or near
Find who you are

And don't cry
Don't worry
B/c you're not
Like
The football captain
Or daddy
Don't make them able
Don't let them
Control
Your feelings
Or
Who you are

Release me
From these chains
That hold me back
Release me
Freedom
To be me
