Pit of Deceit

Contributed by PhantomVampyress on Thursday, 11th December 2003 @ 03:01:36 PM in AEST
Topic: DarkPoetry

Sinking below to the pit of deception
I'm searching... searching for something
and along the way I see your face . You stare at me straight in the eyes as if you weren't telling a lie

As you spoke the pit pulls you down even further and pushes me farther away
I scream your name only to find it's in bitter vain

Rough edges of the night soothing through my sullen dreams

sinking below to the Pit of decption, I search for something... along the way I find you staring straight at me through your eyes...
so straight just as if you never lied

Jenna
