How long must I search To find what I seek? The road takes it toll And my spirit grows weak.
A glimpse of a shadow Taunts my being and mind Pursued by a fool Who sees but still blind
If I peer through plate glass I see nothing at all If Im looking too hard I view life through a straw.
If Im racing to catch her, I will soon learn Shes around every corner Ive sped by and cant turn
So I need to relax To let life take its course Then Ill ride toward the sunset And marry my horse.

Hahahahaha! pretty unexpected ending, making it a not-so-trite piece. Thanks, mate. |
