Communication Skills

Topic: LovePoetry

I cant remember
Ever being so eager to awake
Even in slumber
I cant wait for morning to break

I am so overjoyed I could shout
Yes, Im still in this life
So I know without a doubt
There will still be plenty of strife

Thats why from time to time
When I dont watch carefully
The fear sneaks into my mind
And I no longer feel carefree

Will my life scare him away?
Will there ever be enough time?
What the future holds, I cant say
But with him, life is sublime

This time I wont let fear control
With him I must communicate
It wont always be an easy stroll
Our views we must learn to state

If I avoid what I fear
It wont matter how I listen
Being afraid when hes near
Would destroy our shared mission

I want to look forward to the morrow
And be with him through its gloaming
Whether it bring laughter or sorrow
My words, I must continue them flowing

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
