Another wasted year has hobbled past, That on its deathbed gave birth to the new. A seamless, instant change from waste that was, To all the waste that's yet to come and be.
We celebrate and vow to change and grow, We foolish, addled children of our past, Who've let uncounted, priceless moments go, And failed to use each moment as the last.
Look deep within my hearty, thoughtless friend, Identify the person you could be, Now, moment upon moment without end, Your life's work is to set that person free.
Set free to spurn the jaunty, callous bell, Set free to care and do what you believe, Set free from arid, selfish, soul-dead hell, Set free for countless, priceless New Years' Eves.

An awful lot of YPDC's
"Suicidal Souls Society"
would do well to reflect upon this excellent poem

Tomorrow is another day. But new years was so far away. I agree with Wyrbod. There are wayyyy to many dejected idiots out there that need to look at this, especially because it's so good. The ending brings it altogether in one magnificent line.
For that matter, it somewhat resembles "revelation of a dreamer." But I'll not hasten you toward viewing lesser compositions. Please, keep writing. I need to read this everyday.
