Make me laugh again,
To forget about these tears.
Take me away for a few hours,
To make my day worth living.

Help me even when I pretend I dont want it,
No matter how much I need it.
Stand up for me,
When no one else can find the courage to.

Tell me Im good when I feel bad,
Even if I dont believe you.
Let me be strong for you,
Even if you dont need me to.

Dont leave me like all the others,
They never meant as much as you.
And when our late night talks fall upon what ifs,
And you ask where Id be without you.
I dont know if Id even be at all.

So dont lose me now,
When Ive come so far.
Just make me laugh again.
