my emotions run amok no one is there
i am badgered constantly relentlessly
they know not where they are who they are
my tears flow i cannot defend myself
have i lost myself somewhere in the shuffle
the assault begins as constant questions nonstop
they never remember the answers given
suddenly you scream I ALREADY TOLD YOU
you dont feel better instead you feel worse
have i lost myself somewhere in the shuffle
i try to regain control of my senses no luck
somewhere in the shuffle i am lost
there is always concern about respit you need it
but you know if theres no money theres no respit
have i lost myself somewhere in the shuffle
the mind loses inself between here and there
and nobody can understand how it happened
noone wished to take the blame or accept the reality
how many caregivers in this world are all alone
have i lost myself somewhere in the shuffle
