Everything used to be so easy
a new day brings big trouble.
There's no day like yesterday.
Everything used to be so simple
before a new day came along.
And I wish for yesterday.
Oh yesterday, I miss you so
life was so less complicated then,
why did you have to go?
Why does life seem to be
so much more complicated
with the dawning of a new day?
Why can't life seem to be
so much more difficult to take
when we look back on yesterday?
Maybe soon will come a day
a time will dawn
when today, my love
will seem easier than
what yesterday used to be.
Live for today.
Let the future come.
Let the past be the past.
Forget all about it now.
It's the day you cannot change.
It's the day that's called,
Yesterday.
