Grandpa please dont leave me Im not ready to say goodbye Maybe it is selfish But to let go I have tried So grandpa please dont leave me Alone here to cry Grandpa believe me Im not ready for goodbye
Grandpa whyd you leave me I wasnt ready for goodbye I know that its selfish But know that I have tried So grandpa whyd you leave me In my pain to cry Grandpa believe me I wasnt ready for goodbye
Grandpa can you hear me? I need to say goodbye I know I was selfish But ive seen it through your eyes So grandpa can you hear me? Alone I sit and cry Grandpa believe me Its hard........I say goodbye

I recently lost a grandparent too.....my sympathies....but, as I see it, pain is often good for poetry. Hope you feel better soon. Best Wishes~olive |
