Can't get these thoughts out of my
Head;
No use talkin' about it....
Can't think of anything -
That hasn't already been
Said.
The people you love,
Are supposedly
The ones you hurt the most...
Must not be any truth in that;
Cause your not here,
Instead I'm living with our ghost.
I've lost everything else,
Why not the memories
Too?
I would be content by myself...
If only I could forget
You.
I'm tired of remembering what we had -
Tired of wondering
" What could have been "
Tired of feeling so lonely and sad;
Tired of waiting ...
For my life to begin.
I use to pray for you everynight -
Pleading with God,
To have you by my side.
- Well, I'm trying something new ...-
I'll ask that he mend the heart you tore,
I'm swallowing my pride;
- Cause I cant bare this any longer...-
Instead of forever, I'll pray for no more;
No more sorrows -
No more tears,
No more "should haves" to regret.
Gonna say my prayers tonight ...
And hope for better Tommorows -
I'll hold on relentlessly,
Till all thats haunting me disappears...
And its no longer a struggle to forget.
This is the last of me -
I'll ever give to you...
So goodbye, my love;
From a heart that was always true!

| Beautifuly worded. Good luck in getting over that person. I wish you the best of luck. It is never easy though... Sometimes you must accept as well that they will always be a part of you for once you loved them with all you where. |
