I fall asleep and
another pointless day
has wasted itself away
I dream about
the days that will never
come to be true
I awaken to repeat
the day I just lived
once more
I know that at the end
of this day I still will
have nothing to show
without falling asleep
I dream, I wish
the night would yet again
come to me
but this time never let me go
