Hope

It seems nothing happens in this life without just a little bit of effort.
I feel I gave up hope a while ago but now am ready to repent
for I am lucky to own the gift of life. To me, it is mine,
but I cant help myself wondering all (or a lot) the time
if it means anything at all, and if it does, what?
We may never know, so I put up with what I got!
Life can be too easily thrown away at a whim,
as it does, what happens to the soul within?
Does it go elsewhere in the cosmos to hide?
Does it end? I really don't know, I lied!
I didnt give up hope, it was only faith.

I don't know how I got to or why I'm in this place!
I sense I'm supposed to do something! But what? I do not know!
I suppose I'll just let life take its own course, go with the flow.
It just becomes hard to continue when there is no visible point to it all,
but there is one thing I know, we're not here to destory the Earth! We will fall!

do you really want to know? how often we find the truth so simple and therefore so hard to accept. but seek it, and you will find it.
