SKY BLUE

I look up and see heavy clouds filling the sky
They look dark and ready to cry
The scenery is familiar to me
It is how I have been feeling lately

The clouds begin to swirl with a scream
Tears are everywhere destroying a dream
Everything that was warm is now cold
Like me, I am cold without you to hold

I sit in the middle of the storm
Hanging on to myself as I mourn
D***, it is hard without you
I wonder if I will ever see the sky blue.
