i've been waiting for you all my life
what is your name?
i must have forgotten
i've been waiting around to be your wife
marriage? whats that?
i've been waiting around for you to love me
what is love?
i've been waiting around for someone
and i think it could be you
i know not what to say
or even what to do
i've walked this path a million times
but forgot everything i knew
i've walked the earth only to find
sickness and desease
only to get lost, hurt, and deceived
i've forgotten how to love
i've forgotten your name
i've become numb, deaf, blind
all i taste is bitterness
all i smell is death
all i hear are screams and cries
all i've known i've left
help me to remember your name
show me how to see and feel
and hear the sounds of life
teach me how to smell and taste
so i can be your wife
teach me how to love and live
and teach me to be true
teach me to be normal
so i can be like you
