Crying in the bathroom
Looking in the mirror
Turning on the water
So that nobody will hear her;
Wishing out the window
Bleeding up the wall
Silent tears slide down her cheeks
No one hears her fall;
Closes her eyes and
Remebers herself praying
A whitened dream she holds to herself
And dreams without saying;
With every strike she holds on tight
To her vision and her love
Obsession fires in her veins
Reaching for what she's thinking of;
The innocence and excellence
Of a breathing human being
Is being warped and wasted
Metallic tasting feelings...;
Metal like the rusted blade
Ironic like the blood
Useless like the dream of hers
That didn't live but should.
