A Heart's Love

My head hasn't caught up with my heart it doesn't understand
What I'm doing here Why it is I love this man
Runaway it tells my feet, go far, further away
Ears turn deaf to the lies and all he has to say
Eyes your only blinded by love, but don't be his fool
You'll see more clearly some day when you've removed the wool
Lips don't get used to his kisses, soon they'll belong to someone new
You'll be broken and hurt, lonely and blue
Don't open wide arms, you'll only remain bare
Hands quit writing this love poem, you know he don't care
