It's 4am and i still can't sleep
afraid to close my eyes
as in through my dreams you crawl and creep
sneaking back into my life
the pain you caused
lies deep within
hurt, lies and heartbreak
you still seem to bring
i can never forgive you
or forget what you have done
but i refuse to be beaten
because i can be strong
you had it easy
your life has now gone on
but the life you left me
still has to suffer on
so i lay down to sleep
try not to think of what you've done
or the innocence you stole from me
when i was still so young...
