Its been thirty-four years.
No, its been thirty-five.
Since you entered my world
And taught me how to thrive.
Though I was in love,
With another sweet girl,
She was only a trinket.
You became my true pearl.
You were then a stunning beauty,
As you even are today.
And my first glance in your eyes,
Well, it stole my heart away.
I knew right then I wanted
To keep you in my life.
How pleased and stunned was I,
When you agreed to be my wife!
So Merry Christmas Darling.
I would give to you the world.
But instead you gave it to me,
The day that you became my girl!
