PEACE WITH IN ME

The pebbled path,
Early morning hours,
And a moment stopped in time,
Adorned with fresh rain drops,
The first drizzle of the season,
Autumn showers,
Some things moves with in my soul,
An amazing stillness, a calm
Leaves, red, yellow, green
Scattered upon the ground,
Love is in the air,
A feeling to know and to be known,
In soft intricate ways,
Intimacy of the mind,
Intellectual stimulation,
The early risers,
Birds from yonder,
Sing the secrets of the earth,
Sing praises to nature,
I have come afar from a man lost in the crabby details,
Of technology and concrete,
Homeless as I stand,
With no brick walls to with hold my mystic fort,
An open guest in the house of God,
Where appreciation is my only rent,
I sleep in harmony,
No fear of morrow,
Where I am, where I want to go
the pebbled path is my only guide,
Homeless outside, sheltered within.
