of course i can't sleep my sheets are drenched smelling of the beach minus the sun and sand i cry these nights thinking of us
i can remember a time when we would ride phone lines and your sweet voice would fill my head with sweet sonnets of satisfaction and my heart raced with every precious word but now i'm simply left with dial tones and static memories of your presence
it started so perfect its downfall was calculated measurede and carried out with heartbreaking brilliance
but there were signs phone calls cut short three little words were going unreturned but i am illiterate to these blinded by infatuation
you were the one for me my ounterpart, my completion my glass was half full you filled it to the brim now sapped it, still draining "this isn't working" are the words of my dehydration
